Eesti Gaas will participate in the opinion articles competition “Edukas Eesti”
Eesti Gaas will support the competition of opinion articles Edukas Eesti”, organised by Äripäev newspaper. Additionally, the chairman of the Eesti Gaas council, Ain Hanschmidt, will be one of the jury members.
„We support the organisation of “Edukas Eesti”, as we believe that life is driven by new and great ideas,” said Hanschmidt. “We believe that the economy of Estonia is capable of increasing at least 5%, but in order to achieve that, we need a society that is innovative and ready to implement good ideas,” added Hanschmidt.
The opinion articles’ competition “Edukas Eesti” is a good opportunity for talented people to process their ideas more thoroughly.”It is also important to share these ideas with public, so that all together, we can positively affect our economy,” stated Hanschmidt.
In order to participate in the opinion articles’ competition “Edukas Eesti”, an opinion article must be sent to arvamus@aripaev.ee.The winner will be selected by Äripäev together with a jury consisting of the representatives of the newspaper’s partners and the winners will be announced at the festive ending ceremony of “Edukas Eesti” in March next year. Upon the assessment of stories, the originality and feasibility of the idea as well as the persuasiveness of the argumentation will be taken into account.
The prize for the winner of the competition is 10,000 euros. The winner of the second prize will get 3,000 euros and the winner of the third prize will be awarded 2,000 euros.
Texts can be sent to the competition already now. The final day of the competition will be 28 February 2017.Last year, the Priit Alamäe’s story “A Personalised State – Make It Quicker” won the first prize.
